Dorit Rabinyan is an Israeli writer and screenwriter. She made her debut in 1991 with the collection of poems titled Yes, Yes, Yes. Her first work of fiction, Persian Brides, won the British Jewish Quarterly-Wingate Literary Prize. In addition to writing scripts for Israeli television, she has also published a children’s illustrated book. Her third novel, All the Rivers, has recently been published in English. The book portrays a forbidden love affair between an Israeli woman and a Palestinian man and has garnered literary awards and positive reviews in Israel, as well as controversy.
