The documentary series Forgotten Transports sheds light on the deportations of Jews from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to lesser-known concentration camps in Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, and eastern Poland. In the documentary titled Forgotten Transports to Estonia, the stories of 13 women are revealed, who were among the few survivors sent for forced labor in Estonia and later in Germany. What unites these stories is the women’s courageous battle against acknowledging the full extent of the horrors unfolding around them, fueled by their belief in the hope of reuniting with their loved ones someday. Through hope, collective spirit, and a stroke of luck, these women managed to defy the odds and ultimately save their lives.
