The functionalist Agudas Achim synagogue, built in 1935-1936, is a unique example of modern Jewish sacred architecture and is currently the only synagogue in Moravia and Silesia that serves the spiritual purposes of the Jewish community. The interpretation will be devoted to the fundamental moments of Brno's Jewish history, the main traditions and customs of Judaism, as well as the dramatic life story of the building's author Otto Eisler. We can discuss our experiences and impressions over a glass of kosher wine at the end.
