a performance for parents with children by the smallest theatre in Brno
Premiere of an original production by Mikro-teatro on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the death of Jewish writer Ilse Weber (January 11, 1903, Vítkovice – October 6, 1944, Auschwitz-Birkenau). The production is based on her fairy tales, collectively published under the title "Dobrodinec Báruch," which created safe and colourful havens filled with a sense of justice and hope for better days for Jewish children during the difficult times of the war. The common theme in all stories is that a good deed is deservedly rewarded, and a bad one is punished. Sometimes the remedy is brought about more mysteriously through Mendel Rosenbusch's invisible cloak, and other times it is a child's sense of friendship that sets things right. Let yourself be carried away by the world of Jewish traditions and the unwavering belief that a day will come when justice will be served.
