exposition opening with an introduction by architect Ivan Wahla about the architecture of Tel Aviv
Petr Bureš, a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at VUT, operates in the Brno association of architects and artists. He reconstructed the Brno synagogue, Kafé Pala in Mikulov, but also residential buildings. He thematically likes the forest, campfires, smoke, fog, and clouds. He gradually portrays memories of his Jewish ancestors on large-format portraits. In Vila Löw-Beer, he presents a series of paintings titled Florentin, in which he originally tried to capture the entire namesake district of southern Tel Aviv. However, as buildings were gradually demolished and reconstructed, he ended up with four blocks of buildings where the largest share of original interwar buildings with typical elements remains today, complemented by air conditioning units and cable bundles.
