presentation of Anna Štičková's book
Anna Štičková is a poet and academic. She comes from the Sudetenland and now lives in Brno. She studied literature and creative writing in Prague. She works at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University, where she teaches and is finishing her PhD. She has published two collections of poetry. Her third collection of poetry, Everywhere She Saw Geese (Protimluv 2024), which she will present at the event, reflects, among other things, the fourth generation Jewish experience and the journey to Israel that the author took in February 2024.
The launch will be hosted by Hana Řičicová, with Slovak writer Michal Tallo as the book's patron and guest speaker.
