event type: edu
místo: Café of the Institut Memory of Nation Brno

This January marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of Hungarian Jewish architect Zoltán Egri. He moved to Brno for his studies at the German Technical University and thanks to numerous commissions, has remained here. Although his name is not well known today, in the interwar period he designed and realised a large number of residential interiors and commercial portals, especially for Jewish clients. During a lecture by architectural historian Zuzana Ragulová, a selection of Egri's rich oeuvre will be presented and we will also learn a little about his life.
