Yannets Levi is an acclaimed Israeli writer, journalist, and screenwriter. He has received notable recognition for his literary works, including the Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol Literary Prize and the Dvory Omer Writer’s Prize for Children’s Literature. Levi’s books have achieved great success, with translations into 10 languages and multiple consecutive bestseller status in Israel. Among his notable works is a renowned series of six children’s books titled Uncle Leo’s Adventures (Harpatka’ot Dod Arje). The first book in the series received prestigious awards such as the Israeli Public Libraries Award for Children’s Literature and the Museum of Israel’s Janiv Shimoni Illustration Award in 2010.
