Content of the „Experience the Town differently“ neighborhood festivities is created by the residents of the given localities. It is based on the principle of joint sharing of public space, mutual assistance, volunteering of local organizers and many other entities. This year, on this occasion, the Stolpersteine will be unveiled in Jirásková Street, commemorating the place of the last residence of Růžena Löwyová, Ema Schwippelová and Ferdinand Weinstein. They were taken to Terezín from Brno by the Ah transport in April 1942, but their life journeys soon continued to the east and ended the same year in the Treblinka and Rejowiec extermination camps. The laying of the stones will be accompanied musically by a part of the Brno klezmer group HaChucpa.
