Paper theatre and children’s workshop
Come to see a kamishibai paper theatre performance and listen to “The Fairy Tale Born From Yiddish Songs: About a House, Three Brothers and Many Days Counted.” Japanese kamishibai is a narrative form in which storytelling is accompanied by changing paper images in a special wooden theatre frame. A follow-up art workshop will present the monotype, a graphic technique used to illustrate the story. The performance and workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and up and their companions of any age.
