Prohlídka krytu a výstava Svědectví terezínských zdí

Výjimečně zpřístupněný podzemní kryt pod Kraví horou je unikátního technické dílo, jehož výstavba započala v roce 1944 jako součást rozsáhlé sítě protileteckých úkrytů, které měly chránit civilní německé obyvatelstvo a vojenskou infrastrukturu Brna před rostoucími nálety spojeneckých armád.
Kryt představuje autentické svědectví o obranných opatřeních v období nacistického režimu i rané fázi studené války. Součástí prohlídky je také jedinečná výstava velkoformátových snímků Richarda Homoly s názvem Svědectví terezínských zdí. Fotografie zachycují autentické nápisy a vrypy, které v Terezíně zanechali vězni během druhé světové války. Každý detail vypráví silný příběh a zve k zamyšlení nad tím, co zůstává vepsáno do zdí i do naší paměti.
Výstava vznikla ve spolupráci s Centrum paměti a dialogu Bubny a Muzeem fotografie a moderních obrazových médií.

A guided tour of a unique underground space built in 1944 as part of an extensive system of air-raid shelters for the German population and nearby military depots. Czech students were forced to work on the construction. After the war, the shelter was partially modified but never completed. Today, it stands as a rare and authentic witness to both Nazi-era defense efforts and Cold War civil protection.
The tour also includes a one-of-a-kind exhibition of large-format photographs by Richard Homola, titled Testimony of the Terezín Walls. The photographs capture authentic inscriptions and scratchings
left in Terezín by prisoners during the Second World War. Each detail tells a powerful story and invites reflection on what remains inscribed in the walls—and in our memory.
